Job Description
As a domestic maid/worker in Oman, your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Household Cleaning and Maintenance:
    • Performing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
    • Ensuring all rooms and living areas are kept neat, tidy, and hygienic.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  2. Laundry and Ironing:
    • Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
    • Properly storing and organizing clothes in wardrobes or designated areas.
  3. Cooking and Kitchen Duties:
    • Assisting with meal preparation according to the household’s preferences and dietary needs.
    • Keeping the kitchen clean and organized, including washing dishes and utensils.
  4. Childcare and Elderly Care (if applicable):
    • Providing care and supervision for children, including feeding, bathing, and engaging in educational or recreational activities.
    • Assisting elderly family members with daily tasks and providing companionship as needed.
  5. Miscellaneous Duties:
    • Running errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and other household tasks as assigned.
    • Managing household supplies and maintaining inventory levels.

  2. Passport:
    • A valid Kenyan passport is required for travel and employment in Oman.
  3. Experience:
    • Previous experience working as a house help in Middle Eastern countries is essential. This experience ensures familiarity with cultural expectations and work environments.
  4. Medical Certification:
    • A comprehensive medical certification indicating good health and fitness for duty.
  5. Yellow Fever Certificate:
    • A valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is necessary for international travel and compliance with health regulations.
  6. Certificate of Good Conduct:
    • A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kenya.
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary: The successful candidate will receive a monthly salary of 100 Omani Rial (OMR).

Work Hours
  • Schedule: The typical work schedule will be six days a week, with one day off.
