Job Description
As a house help, you will be responsible for a variety of household duties aimed at ensuring our home runs smoothly. We are looking for someone who is efficient, organized, and capable of managing different tasks with minimal supervision. The role will involve cleaning, cooking, laundry, and other household responsibilities. This is a live-out position, and we are searching for someone who can commit to the job on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

1. Cleaning and House Maintenance:
   • Clean and organize all rooms in the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen, and common areas.
   • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe down surfaces.
   • Clean windows, mirrors, and light fixtures to maintain a tidy and pleasant environment.
   • Ensure all household items are properly stored and the house is clutter-free.
2. Laundry:
   • Wash, dry, iron, and fold clothing, linens, and towels.
   • Ensure proper care of different fabrics and materials.
3. Cooking and Meal Preparation:
   • Assist with cooking meals or meal prep as required.
   • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, and all kitchen tools are well-maintained.
4. Errands and Shopping:
   • Occasionally run household errands such as grocery shopping, picking up supplies, or handling small purchases.
5. Childcare Support (If Required):
   • Provide light assistance with childcare, such as supervising children, preparing snacks, or ensuring they are safe and comfortable.
6. Other Duties:
   • Handle any additional household tasks that may be requested, such as watering plants, organizing storage spaces, or preparing rooms for guests.
   • Ensure all household chores are done in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:

• Previous Experience: Prior experience as a house help, housekeeper, or similar role is highly preferred. A proven track record of reliability and thoroughness will be an advantage.
• Basic Cooking Skills: Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and meal preparation.
• Attention to Detail: A good eye for detail to ensure that every area of the house is clean and organized.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: KSh 17,000
• Meals: Lunch will be provided during working hours.
• Public Holidays: Off on public holidays unless agreed upon in advance. Any work on public holidays will be compensated.
• Leave: 21 days of paid leave per year after completing the probation period.
